Although the two kingdoms have been enemies for ages, envoys from Bontrell have now announced their intention to visit the Atteronians at Sturmwacht Castle. To properly honor this first gesture of goodwill, the castle is to be transformed into a place that meets the high standards of the art-loving Bontrell. Atteron is calling on all artists, bards, duelists, dancers, and entertainers—in short, anyone who understands beauty and art—to travel to Ghost Rock for the Night of Fortune.
But of course, the arrival of the Bontrell under the banner of the swan is no coincidence. They are said to be bringing with them an important object that will help the Mitrasperans in their search for Mitraluun – what price they want for it remains uncertain. But between the silk dresses, the beguiling scent of perfumers, the gentle songs of bards, and the elegant steps of duelists, something else seems to have crept onto the ship bound for Sturmwacht – something dark and hungry that threatens to devour the castle and all its guests. And so it comes as no surprise that there is more hidden in the old supply corridors than anyone had previously suspected.
